James “Jim” LeMunyon was first elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in November 2009.  He serves on three committees: General Laws, Education, and Transportation.  Delegate LeMunyon is a Deputy Whip for the Republican majority. He also serves on the Transportation Accountability, the Code Commission (Vice-Chair), and the Freedom of Information Act Advisory Council (Chair). As a technology company entrepreneur for more than 20 years, Delegate LeMunyon has started and continues to help build technology businesses. Presently, he works with Power America, a consortium of industry and universities focused on advancing power electronic technology. Delegate LeMunyon graduated from Valparaiso University with a B.S. in physics and mathematics. He earned a M.S. in meteorology at the University of Wisconsin on a NASA scholarship. He joined NVTC in May 2014.
